They finally kicked us out of that in '77 if I'm not mistaken. The frat at the second floor use to have fun watching our girls practicing their disco moves. We first moved to the AS steps when they first locked the gates, after which we moved to the AS parking lot, ca 1978 (fourth year for most of us), hence the PLA...Parking Lot Association. Don't get it wrong...we were never a formal org...just hung out together...still do every now and then. Except now our kids join us during the annual Christmas party...and of course aside from those of us who are now married, the rest are kumpares/kumares...ninongs and ninangs:) |
